week 8 answer boards
forums, this is a great way to share information. If you have spend valuable time researching a subject- would be a valuable forum for other staff, librarians & clients

week 5 wiki's
i have explored wiki's and understand that they are open to all- these can be useful if researching a new topic.
they are interesting, the fact you are not required to have an extensive computer skills such as required to formulate a web page to be able to start and participate in a wiki.
the main problem with wiki's is that your wiki can be changed by anyone - hence open to vandalism. i like my reasearch to be sourced, so wont find these a lot of use.
